Guess who's back?

Sorry, I've been so MIA, friends! I swore up and down that I wasn't going to be that mom who only blogged a few times per year. I was going to blog weekly. (haha) And here we are. To be honest, I've thought about posting a few times, but felt overwhelmed by all the stuff that I had to "catch up" post that I didn't even touch my blog. So here's what we have been up to!

December 2016:

Around Thanksgiving time last year, Ryan was telling me about how his mom used to tell him & his siblings the story of the Three Little Pigs, but she changed the 3rd pig's house to be made of metal studs and lath. (Instead of brick. Ryan's dad & grandfather are/were Lathers by trade) And we thought about how fun it would be to turn that story into an actual book for Adam so that story could live on! Well, with Christmas coming up soon, Ryan came up with the idea to make one for his parents as a gift, and one for each of his siblings too! So Ryan collaborated with his sister, Jen, (Ryan wrote the story, Jen illustrated and edited it) and we ordered it on SnapFish. It turned out beautiful and was a hit among the family!

Thank goodness for after Christmas sales!
Our tree is going to be EPIC this year!!

Yay for 2016 fun!!

 January/Feb/March 2017 fun:

Tahoe with my fam was so fun!
As predicted, Adam did not care for the cold...
...but he liked watching Daddy build a giant snowman. Haha.
(And then there was that time when I broke my glasses...)

I did my first Jamberry vendor event at the Apricot Lane Boutique!
It was sooooo fun! (pictured is the manager of ALB, Sasha, modeling a gorgeous Jamicure!)

We love watching #ldsconf with our families!

This kiddo is getting so close to walking (read: running), I can feel it.

Thanks for hanging in there, guys.
I know that was a doozy.
Here's to hoping that I will blog more regularly this year!
(Fingers crossed!)
