This week has been eventful.

With all of these milestone type events in my last few posts I've come to the realization that I love planning and being part of events. I love weddings, parties, getting dressed up- I love it! Ok, so maybe this isn't a new thing. But I have toyed with the idea of being a makeup artist. That would be my dream! Maybe one day. But for now, I'm self taught and always learning. I love helping others (especially teenage girls) feel glamorous! I think its such a magical, empowering feeling! Plus, it makes me feel so excited to be a part of their special day (whatever that day may be). So, if you or a family member or friend or acquaintance in the Sacramento area wants her makeup/hair/nails done, please let me know! Seriously!

Recap:

I attended my first ever Relief Society activity in our new-ish ward and it was so fun! The decor was so beautiful! (It was a garden theme. So cute!) There were beautiful flowers everywhere! It was fashioned like a progressive dinner, but with each course we changed tables and talked with new people! There were even jars with conversation starters on each table in case we got stuck.

Our table was Japanese theme. SO pretty! The teacup and tea pot really made me wish I had put china on our wedding registry. (ha) I had a lot of fun getting to know people! I love Relief Society!

I went to the Roseville Downtown Library and got my first library card (since I was like 12)...and found this odd car-thing parked outside. Funny!
I checked out this book to read for Book Club in June!

I met up with my coworker/friend at Starbucks and we had a blast chatting and enjoying yummy things!

I went to Ulta to buy some makeup in preparation of doing Little Miss & McKenna's makeup for the John Adams' Academy Formal that night.

 Gotta love falsies!

...and I was hiding while I swatched like every pinky-nude lipstick I could find...

I brought ALL my makeup and hair stuff.

We had a blast!

                         McKenna before.                                         ...and after!

                       Little Miss before.                                       ...and after!

Eagle Scout Big Boy strutted around the house in his tux. This kid is too cute for his own good.

Oh my gosh, look at that FACE!

...heading out to Emily's house for pictures...

He took some great pics with his lady/date Emily.

We kept teasing them that every formal pic they take looks like a wedding pic.

Finally the girls were ready! They looked so glamorous!

 ...these girls...

This girl is way too cute for her own good. Just sayin'.

...and then I broke her corsage...sorry...

...but she wasn't too upset. :)

I'm so glad the kiddos had fun!

At work, my doctors taught a class about what to do (and what to avoid) in terms of ergonomics and other healthy living tips! I've attended more times than I can count and I love it every time!

 Improper ergonomics for vacuuming.

Good ergonomics! I love my job!

Things I love/Weekly Obsessions:

I sent this to Ryan. Ha.

This is one of my faves! (Loved that newer Cinderella movie too. Great spin!)

The sky was so pretty yesterday!

 Fishtail braids. Love!

Wedding planning for these two lovebirds!
