One nation, under God.

With yesterday being Memorial Day, I can't help but reflect on how lucky I feel to be a citizen of this great country. I am so grateful for the men and women who laid down their lives for my freedom. And also for the families of these deceased warriors who had to continue on in this life without them. My heart goes out to you all. I don't know what its like to have someone close to me that passed while in the service. But I do know that I have a great respect for all those who have served, past and present. So thank you...from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all that you have done for me. 

Testimony Tuesday:

I know that the founding fathers of this great country were inspired by God to stand up for their beliefs. I know that they were inspired to create and sign their names to our Constitution. I know that our loving Heavenly Father wants us to all have opportunities to learn and grow and I know that without the stalwart men that were brave enough to come to America, none of this would be possible. I feel like the words of The Pledge of Allegiance greatly summarize how awesome our country's ideals are:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United State of America

and to the Republic, for which it stands

one nation, under God

indivisible, with liberty and justice for all

My heart is so full as I think about how lucky I am to be part of this great nation. I hope yours is too.
