The Waiting Game.

So remember how I said my next post would be about us announcing Adam's arrival? Well...he's not here yet. I was banking on him being here by today, as I had originally scheduled my induction for yesterday afternoon, but quickly realized that I would much rather prefer not laboring through the night if I could help it, so I rescheduled it for this morning at 6am. Well, lo and behold, when I called L&D to make sure they had room for me, they advised that they didn't (!!!) and to call back around 7:30am to check again! So here's to hoping that they'll have room! (There's got to be a reason that he's not here yet. I'm trying to be patient, but man, I'm getting to my wit's end!) ;)

Pregnancy Updates:

How far in: 41 weeks & 1 day.

Baby is the size of a/an: Full grown baby! (Ha... My app stopped measuring after 40 weeks)

Feeling: So good!

Weight Gain: About the same as when I was at my last appointment.

Wearing: Lularoe. Leggings. Err day. I just got some over the weekend and you guys...I understand now.

Sleep: Loving it, per usual. Last night it was hard to fall asleep though! Something about my brain wanting to play songs on repeat...

Missing: Our baby. ;)

Next doctor's appointment: Today for the big induction. WOO!!!

Movement: Spurts of movement from time to time.

Food cravings: Grits & eggs all the time.

Looking forward to: Meeting our little guy! (Although I suspect he will not be so little!)

Missionary Updates:

Elder Arciniaga & I "chatted" this week! (And by that I mean that my Mother told me when he was online, so I sent him an email and he replied instantly. It was so fun!) It was pretty brief- I told him about how we're still waiting on Adam to get here and he said he was excited for us...and that the weather in San Antonio has been crazy- like flash flood crazy! I miss this guy and wish he could be here to see new baby Adam! (The craziest part is that he won't meet Adam until he's a toddler! Woa!)

Recap:

  • It has been raining so much lately! The lake has filled in! (Boating summer here we come!)

  • Allie went to two prom's this past weekend! (Her prom and her bf's prom)
Aww. Look at those precious little babies.

  • My dad came to town for Adam's arrival.
  • We went to the Kings game to watch Allie (baby sister) perform in the half time show with her dance group, Upstage.
She's the one in the middle, with the dark hair, in the yellow dress. ;)

They also had an awesome performance from a mariachi band and dancers! I tell you, I love mariachi music. Reminds me of going to Mexico every summer as a kid.

These sassy ladies were awesome. They're the "Kings Classic Dancers". They started out real tame and kinda blah with long black dresses and traditional music, but then took off their long skirts to reveal those little coin belly dancing skirts and started dancing to "Hot In Here". They were a crack up. I have added this to my bucket list. (The best part? Most of them were elderly!)

We had fun. (Note that I look happier than Ryan. That's because our team got royally stomped and he was getting frustrated over their lack of effort to try and change that. Ha)
  • We went to my friend, Sarah's, 1920's themed birthday party! It was so much fun!

I love this guy. He was such a team player. (He doesn't like parties unless they involve gaming with his friends. And he definitely doesn't like dressing up. Or being in pictures. And he did all of those things for me. I love him!)

Weekly Obsessions:

  • Freebies! (This week I won another pair of Lularoe leggings and a Jamberry nail pedi pack! I consider these to be tender mercies for having to wait for Adam so long.)

Am I the luckiest or what?! #Winning

Meme's I love:

Thankful Thursday: Our baby that is (HOPEFULLY) soon to make an appearance within the next day or two!!!, tender mercies, my sweet husband (who is about to become a daddy!), the Priesthood!

Ok guys. My next post will be about Adam's arrival. Promise.

XOXO,
