32 Weeks Along.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that in less than two-ish months, Adam will no longer be attached to my person! We will get to hold and love him and cuddle all the time! We're so excited to meet our sweet boy!

Pregnancy Updates:

How far in: 32 weeks.

Baby is the size of a/an: Head of bok choy! (About 16.7 inches long and getting very close to four pounds!)

Feeling: Round. I feel like I have rounded out quite a bit in the past week!

Weight Gain: Not much since my last appointment 2 weeks ago.

Wearing: Boots and comfy clothes! Loving scarves and layers this week!

Sleep: I've been having some trouble sleeping lately. I feel like when bed time rolls around I have a hard time shutting my brain off. Time for daily meditation to go into effect!

Missing: Being able to wear my pre-pregnancy pants.

Not Missing: My period. (Ha. That will never change.)

Last doctor's appointment: Two days ago. According to my OBGYN, my blood pressure and weight gain are both normal. We listened to Adam's heart beat and she said its "really good!" (I love my OB. She's awesome!)

Next doctor's appointment: Two weeks.

Movement: Lots. Adam loves to move all over, especially around bedtime.

Food cravings: Yogurt and apple sauce! I made a point to stock up on both!

Looking forward to: Meeting Adam!

Missionary Updates:

"Hello everyone,

This week has been awesome! I am finally starting to feel confident about being out here and have started taking the lead on a majority of the
responsibilities. Yesterday, we went out on splits and tried to visit a bunch of people that we normally do not get the chance to see. Over
two hours I was only able to reschedule one appointment, but it was all I needed to feel the excitement to keep going! I have such an
excellent district and I am grateful for the willingness and desire that they all have to work. Something I had the opportunity to think
about was how important members are to bringing people into the church. After 6-8 weeks and the missionaries transfer out, what kind
of connection will people they were teaching have to the church. Fellow-shipping is something that we have really been pushing here in
our area to ensure that there is plenty of support to new people.

There is a video I wanted to share about how we are approaching what we are called and asked to do and if it is really effective. This
video is about a Priest named Guillermo and how he learned to be a friend instead of begrudgingly fulfilling a calling. We can all learn
from this and how we are all missionaries. A term that has started to bother me is "missionary work". Is this really missionary work? This
is our Heavenly Father's work and glory, as missionaries we just reach out to help hasten his work. I have learned that being a missionary is
truly about how we desire to go and do. Whether it be service or going door to door, the work is still the same. We should always be inviting
and giving people the opportunity, and when they feel ready they will accept the invitation.

As people, we should love one another and by doing so, we could be really changing someones life. It got me thinking about hymn 223 which
is " Have I done any good?" The lyrics really stuck out to me and it's something that we should really ponder. "Have I done any good in the
world today? Have I helped anyone in need? Have I cheered up the sad and made someone feel glad? If not, I have failed indeed." As we go
throughout the week, we should be on the lookout for opportunities to do good! Blessings will come with loving others.

The scripture I would like to share is Mosiah 2:17 which says "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may
learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

Hasten the work,

Elder Arciniaga"

A few thoughts about this meme...
This is something that I am trying to do more often. It's amazing how my perspective changes when I ask what I can learn from an experience.

Thankful Thursday: our circumstances.

I am so thankful for exactly where we are right now! (Buying our home, awaiting arrival of Adam, teaching CTR 6, our jobs, me being married to the sweetest guy around!) I mean, how lucky are we?

XOXO,
