Mothers rock!

With this past Sunday being Mother's Day, I've been taking time to reflect on the wonderful women in my life. I am very fortunate to have lots of loving and caring examples of motherhood all around me! I am so blessed to have my Mother, Grandma Sally, Mimi, Nana, Melanie (MIL), numerous aunts, cousins, and friends who all are awesome examples of compassion and love! I love that Mother's Day is not just a celebration of the literal mothers, but of all women! We all have the ability to show love and compassion to others! I know that I love spending time with my friends' kids and practicing my "parenting skills" on them. (Ha) ...and I love that they let me practice on their kids! (I'm totally game to babysit BTW...practice makes perfect better, right?)

Testimony Tuesday:

I know that we, as men and women, have divine roles, as stated in The Family: A Proclamation To The World. I know that families are the most basic and most essential units in this life. I know that through families, we have opportunities to learn and grow, and teach our children gospel truths. I know that although our families are not perfect, we have the potential to be so. I know that through constant application of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can come closer to our Father In Heaven and be perfected in Him. I am so grateful to have been sealed to my sweet husband and someday have the opportunity to grow our own family. I know that though I'm far from perfect, that I have the opportunity to apply the Commandments and be better. I know that through the sacred Sacrament covenants I renew each week, I can strive to be my best self. I am infinitely blessed to have this gospel in my life!

How has the Atonement blessed your life?

XOXO,
