"I made a lucky shot"

So...this has been kind of a long week so far. (Wah waaaaaah) My only real way to deal with this apparent dragging of time at work was by being really silly. Like really silly. Like slap-happy silly. Like make-jokes-for-no-reason silly. Like today-I-was-the-office-comedian-for-like-five-whole-minutes-and-made-everyone-laugh silly. (It was awesome BTW) Which reaffirms that attitude is everything. Seriously. (It also helps that our two new hires, Tricia and Andy, are total jokesters too. We laughed so hard at so many things for no reason. It was perfect.)

Stuff Tricia & I talked about this week:

• Our office Halloween costumes (this is an ongoing conversation. We are so serious about this that we made a list and a power point presentation to present at our staff meeting 5ish months from now)
• Having a zoo with miniature animals (ie tiny Meer cats)
• The importance of having a non-tacky prom dress (Duct tape? Really?)

This week...

 I hung out with Ryan's bestest friend on the planet: Travis! (aside from his other best friend: Clinton) We watched the other half of Step Up. We both love Channing Tatum BTW.

 He got me into this show called Dual Survival. (Have you seen it?!) Its about these two guys in the freezing forests of Wyoming roughing it with nothing! They only have like a knife and their snow clothes and whatever they find! It's so cool!

 We played with Baby L-J and hung out with fam.

 

 I went shopping and bought a bunch of work clothes.

 

 I found this shirt on the clearance rack at Express for $30, but when I checked out it was only $15! Woo!

 

 I bought this shirt too. (and a red blazer, two pairs of chinos, and two more shirts)

 

 We visited/hung out at the family property. It was a beautiful day. There were some super pretty birds out. (We did some bird watching)

 I copied this outfit from my friend's bridesmaid outfits! Haha...

I saw this car while driving to work yesterday! For some reason this canoe has these giant handlebar-shaped things on top. Do you know what the purpose is?! (I spent the whole 40 minutes trying to figure it out...I'm still at a loss...)
